- Final Fantasy 14's Growing Light Part 2, releasing on January 16, will conclude side stories from Endwalker and include the Main Scenario bridge leading up to Dawntrail.
- Patch 6.55 adds new content, including the introduction of Wuk Lamat and the conclusion of Tataru's Grand Endeavor and the Hildibrand Adventures.
- Players can also look forward to Final Fantasy 16 crossover events, holiday events, and the release of Final Fantasy 14 on Xbox in the coming months.
Players will still have a few other things to look forward to between now and Dawntrail, however. The Final Fantasy 16 crossover with FF14 will take place sometime in early April, and fans can look forward to holiday events for Valentine’s Day, Little Ladies’ Day, and Hatching-Tide in February, March, and April respectively. Additionally, players can safely expect a Moogle Treasure Trove event to start a couple of months before Dawntrail.
Final Fantasy 14 is also coming to Xbox soon, with the open beta currently scheduled around February 21. The critically acclaimed MMORPG is still aiming to be fully supported on the console by spring, well before Dawntrail’s release.
January 16 is going to be a big day for MMORPG fans. Beyond Final Fantasy 14’s Patch 6.55, World of Warcraft is releasing Patch 10.2.5, Seeds of Renewal, which adds epilogues of its own expansion’s story, as well as big gameplay features including worldwide Dragonriding. World of Warcraft is aiming for an early fall release for The War Within, so with Dawntrail coming sometime in the summer, 2024 is gearing up to be an exciting year for those who spend their time in both Azeroth and Etheirys.
